Description | |
Background | Canine Parainfluenza Virus (CPIV) infection is the main respiratory infectious disease in dogs. The clinical manifestations are fever, runny nose and cough. The pathological changes were characterized by catarrhal rhinitis and bronchitis. In recent years, studies have shown that CPIV can also cause acute encephalomyelitis and hydrocephalus, and clinical manifestations include hindquarters paralysis and dyskinesia. |
