Monoclonal Antibodies are monotype of antibody which can bind to a specific epitope on target antigen. The first step to produce monoclonal antibodies is to synthesize an immunogen, and  then inject the immunogen into a selected host animal. Once the immunogen causes an immune response, the b-cells in the spleen are extracted and fused with the myeloma cells. Healthy splenocytes do not survive indefinitely in cell culture, so use cell fusion to create a hybridoma cell line. This fusion process is that a mono-culture of B-cells all producing the same specific antibody are created by fusing and culturing single B-cells from the spleen into their own hybridomas.

Each hybridoma produces a monoclonal antibody that, while given a specific clone number, recognizes a specific epitope. B cells secrete the monoclonal antibodies into the culture medium. The Antibodies are then further purified and detected. The hybridoma approach creates a stable production route for the production of monoclonal antibodies, and guarantees that each batch is the same as the previous batch. We can offer ascites fluid antibody that is hybridomas are injected in the peritoneal cavity of a mouse.

With over 10,000 products, our growth can be attributed to the continual production of cutting edge research products. Biotyscience can offer monoclonal antibodies with high stability, high specificity, and high sensitivity. Biotyscience offers primary antibodies, antibody conjugates, proteins, and ELISA kits across the life sciences.
